Ok ladies and gentlemen, here we go! THANK GOD IT’S MONDAY, BABY!  

Haha, I can already FEEL some of your eye rolls!đŸ˜‚đŸ€Ł

But here’s the deal, â€œAt the end of the day you gotta feel some way. So why not feel unbeatable? Why not feel untouchable? Shout out to the homie, Connor McGregor for that one.

Listen, there’s two things in life you can control no matter what is thrown at you:

1.) Your attitude

and

2.) Your effort

I’m not saying its easy. It takes concerted action, sure, but it is doable.

And both your attitude and effort go hand in hand like peanut butter and jelly slapped between two slices of bread. Made intently and with love, it’s the perfect snack to fuel you through one helluva workout! Slopped together any old way with no attention to detail and you have a mess on your hands, literally. Then, making matters worse, you forgot to wash your peanut buttery hands and the guy who used the barbell after you breaks out in hives and convulsions, in a severe allergic reaction, right there on the gym floor, scaring the living shit out of everyone. Now, no one is getting a great workout and you damn near killed someone.

Still not following?

Guess what happens when you dread Mondays? You’re gonna have a dreadful ass day! Think Mondays are a drag? They’ll drag on and on and on.

See them as a launchpad, however, and guess who’s soaring through the day, setting the rest of the week on fire?! Not just you, but in your wake you’ll also inspire those around you to take flight!🚀🚀

Because those who feel empowered also empower those around them!

Some people wait:

  • All day for 5pm

  • All week for Friday

  • All year for the summer

  • All life for happiness

Completely oblivious to the reality of life, happiness, and fulfillment passing them by.

But not you, not any more. Here’s how, moving forward, you will turn your Monday blues into your weekly warm-up to winning wellness!

First and foremost, you MUST set some non-negotiable time aside on Sunday to prep for the week. Dedicating time on Sunday towards your attack on Monday is critical for success. Never forget, the greatest journeys all begin with a strong first step.

Next, clarity, clarity, clarity. You have to know what you’re getting yourself into each week so you’re not blindsided by a ‘case of the Mondays’. The power of focused intention cannot be overlooked. Start with writing down 3-5 primary goals to knock out on Monday. Don’t just set the goals though, lay out clear intentions and specific actions illustrating precisely how you can and will accomplish said goals.

And lastly, lock in a consistent morning routine. Routine creates familiarity and will keep you focused on the task at hand, also removing your previous disdain for the day. As part of it, I would strongly recommend implementing some sort of physical activity along with creating weekly affirmations.
